Sally Ann (Swanson) Grinsteiner, 85, lifetime Menominee County resident, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2020.
Born to the late Charles and Signe (Christopherson) Swanson, she graduated from Stephenson High School in 1952. She married her high school steady, Tony (Anton) Grinsteiner in 1953 and they were married for 61 years before his passing in October 2015.
For many years, she worked along side her husband raising a variety of animals on their farm near Stephenson, Mi. Before dementia took away her abilities, she enjoyed playing cards, BUNCO, craft club and visiting with neighbors and friends, but her favorite was making meals for family get togethers.
She is survived by five children, Roger (Doreen), Christine (Louis Jr.) Ruleau, Martin (Kay), Scott (Kathy) and Randall (Tina); 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony and two siblings, Charles Jr., John "Jack" and Lorna Anderson.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 11 a.m. in Bethesda Cemetery with Rev. Dave Christenson presiding. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home of Stephenson is assisting the family with arrangements.
