
Mary E. LemskyIssue Date: December 2, 2020 Mary "Pat" E. (Koeppler) Lemsky, 89, of Marinette, passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020 at the Cottages in Marinette.
Born April 1, 1931, to the late Paul and Leona (Vandenberg) Koeppler in Mobile, Al., she graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in 1949 and worked at Scott Paper Mill for one year, where she met her husband. On Dec. 2, 1950, she married Glenn Lemsky at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Marinette and he preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 2019.
She enjoyed reading and doing cross word puzzles, but mostly loved time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she played on the floor with well into her 80's. She was easy to talk to, a great listener and was liked by all.
Survivors include four sons, William (Marilyn) Lemsky of Richfield, James (Tracy) Lemsky of Green Bay, John Lemsky of Marinette and Thomas (Melissa) Lemsky of Roberts, Wi.; five daughters, Mary (Mark) Peterson and Susan (Mike) Pierson, both of Green Bay, Leanne Herrild of Broomfield, Co., Kathryn (Wayne) Adams of Marinette and Julie (Kurt Schadewalt) Lemsky of Belleville, Wi.; a sister Margaret Jung of Suamico; a daughter-in-law, Patt Lemsky of Waukesha; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Glenn, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Joan Mary; a son, Joseph; two brothers, Paul and Robert Koeppler; two sisters, Kathy Vincent and Jeanette Snyder and a son-in-law, Ron Herrild.
Private family services will be held at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette with burial in Forest Home Cemetery.
