Edwin F. "Ed" Fruehe, 84, formerly Pembine, passed away on his birthday Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020 at Lake Shore Assisted Living in Lake Tomahawk.
Born Nov. 25, 1936 in Evanston, Ill., to the late Arnold and Maime (Mattison) Fruehe, he served in the United States Air Force from 1957 until 1960 and earned a Good Conduct Medal.
He is survived by a daughter, Becky (Joe) Blaser; two grandchildren; a brother, Ronald (Christine) Fruehe; a sister, Sandra (Donald) Janisch and many nieces and nephews.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie; a son, Scott and a sister, Selene (Patrick) Michelson.
A visitation was held for family and friends on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at Roubal Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A burial service followed at 11 a.m. in Pembine Cemetery, with Pastor Gene Wickman officiating. Full Military Honors were provided by Pembine American Legion Post #461.
