Clement E. Bintz, 91, of Marinette, passed away Sunday evening, Nov, 29, 2020 at his home.
Born Nov. 3, 1929, to Harry and Mabel Bintz, Sr. in the Town of Pound where he spent his early life., he was baptized on Dec. 8, 1929 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Grover and confirmed May 31, 1942, also at St. John's Church. On Nov. 25, 1950, he married the former Arlene F. Hemminger at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marinette. For many years he worked at Globe House Furnishing Co. in Marinette and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo.
Survivors include four children, Linda (Gary) Uecke, Nancy, Lori (Scott) Siegel and David; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Roger (Helen) Bintz; brother and sisters-in-law, Rodney (Jewell) Hemminger, Annette Anderson, Leora Delgoffe, Joyce Van Court, Helen Campbell, Joan (Don) Strojny and Anita Hemminger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene and two brothers, Harry, Jr. and Gerald.
Due to current public health concerns, a private family Memorial Service will be held Friday, Dec. 4 at Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo with Rev. Luke Myslik officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
