Randolph "Randy" Blunden, 77, of Richmond, Mi., formerly of Cocoa Fla. and Menominee, Mi., passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021 at home in Richmond.
Born July 21, 1944 in Menominee, Mi., to the late Robert and Bernice Blunden, he served in the United States Air Force for many years as an Aircraft Ground Support Mechanic. He was married to his wife Maureen for 58 years.
After retirement the couple moved to Florida where they spent many years enjoying time together and visiting family and friends. He enjoyed spending time in his workshop tinkering on cars and tractors, cracking jokes and living his best life, but especially adored his grandchildren and time with them was very important to him.
He was a loving father to Tanya Nierescher, Melanie (Dennis) Yore, Tamara (Robert) Trapiss and Jaime (Shea) Conley, along with 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was also survived by siblings, Susan Beres, Barbara Regan and Tim Blunden.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharmayne LaLauni and a grandson, Matthew Ryan Yore.
Committal service with United States Air Force Military Honors will be held at a future date at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Mi.
